Newcastle Vegan Festival - July 4th 2015 @ The Assembly Rooms

Newcastle Vegan Festival - July 4th 2015 @ The Assembly Rooms

| by Editor | Posted in Vlog

After the amazing success of last year’s Newcastle Vegan Festival, the organisers are delighted to be bringing it back this summer on Saturday 4th July 2015 in the Assembly Rooms. With a well-orchestrated marketing campaign, the festival is expected to attract thousands of people from a wide demography in the UK.

Here’s a video from last year’s event in the CastleGate (courtesy of Corr Film Studios):

Last year the festival was backed by many celebrities such as Joanna Lumley, Heather Mills and ex-Everton footballer Neil Robinson. The list of celebrities offering messages of support has now extended to the likes of Michaela Strachan, Wendy Turner-Webster, Gary Yourofsky, Dave Spikey and more.

It’s hugely gratifying for us to witness and support the birth of a brand-new vegan event on Tyneside last year, and we’re glad to hear how well the festival went last year and even more delighted to see it coming back to an even better venue and looking to grow even bigger. We feel privileged to be able to support such a worthy event in reaching out to more people looking to go vegan or seeking vegan inspirations. Here we extend our best wishes to the organising team and wish them every success this year.

The event venue this year is the Assembly Rooms which is situated on Fenkle Street near the central station. This festival is set to be one of the best that the region has to offer for veganism and animal welfare. The festival is also an excellent avenue to market, promote and develop your vegan business this year.

Open to the public from 10am to 4pm, this festival is a fun filled day with talks, stalls, workshops, freebies and much more for all the family.

Exhibitors will be offering a wide variety of vegan produce, including cakes and chocolate, hot takeaway food, make up, clothing, pet treats and cheese. Amongst the exhibitors last year were Vegan Runners UK and Teen VGN, and here are their video highlights from last year’s event:

You can purchase tickets and find more information online at Invite your friends to the event via their event page on Facebook here.

The organisers of the Newcastle Vegan Festival are also running a brand-new vegan festival in Edinburgh on August 8th – you can also find out info about this event at
