Following on from the uplifting news recently that vegan MP Kerry McCarthy has been appointed as Shadow Environment Secretary of the Labour Party by new party leader Jeremy Corbyn, and Kerry’s comments that meat eaters should be treated in the same way as smokers, there has been a huge amount of debate in mainstream media from all sectors on whether meat eaters deserve to be ostracised or stigmatised in this fashion...
In fact, as more and more people understand the concept that animals have rights and using animals in any way involves the violation of animals’ rights, are we going to reach a stage when any forms of animal exploitation can be outlawed?
