What a wonderful weekend at the Brighton Centre, with altogether 10,700 visitors (5,700 Saturday, 5,000 Sunday) enjoying a fabulous cocktail of vegan food, products, education, entertainment and socialising all under one roof!

The usual vibrant mix of stalls, caterers, talks, cookery demos, films and kids activities come on top of some standout features such as the Teachers Vegan Summit, the UK Vegan Comedy Festival, the FxEctive Factor and the Vegan Activists Summit, alongside chillout areas such as the Teen Zone and the Mature Zone, plus a Hemp Expo for the hemp enthusiasts.

Amongst many standout characters at the event is the thinking pig’s pig Pig Freud, who was not only one of the contestants at the FxEctive Factor, performing with plenty of gusto and fire in his belly, but also busy with collecting donations for his ambitious vegan “Justice for All” advertising campaign in Bristol which aims to cover billboard, radio adverts and buses with a clear “Go Vegan” message for the animals.
