Vegan superhero Pig Freud plants his 'Go Vegan' Justice posters outside KFC and McDonald's in the centre of Edinburgh

Vegan superhero Pig Freud plants his 'Go Vegan' Justice posters outside KFC and McDonald's in the centre of Edinburgh

| by Editor

Vegan superhero Pig Freud, the world’s first guitar-playing pink fluffy pig, has struck another blow for the freedom of animals and humans everywhere with his new ‘Go Vegan’ posters proudly adorning phone boxes in the city centre of Edinburgh during the Fringe festival – and this time right outside KFC and McDonald’s outlets.

Pig Freud’s eye-catching simple humble requests for humans to consider going vegan for the animals, the planet and your own health is large and clear against the backdrop of outlets that are in part responsible for the death of some 70 billion animals that are killed for food each year. A number of other posters have sprung up around Edinburgh during the Fringe festival which attracts around a million people each year in August. And Pig Freud sincerely hopes that his message will, in some small way, help bring some kind of justice for animals before they are killed without any need or requirement.

The massive Vegfest Scotland, which Pig Freud is a part of, take place on December 3rd 4th 2016 at the SECC (Hall 3) in Glasgow. The event is a huge celebration of all things vegan – it consists of 160 stalls, 13 caterers, talks, cookery demos, activists workshops, a health summit, performances, a mature zone, kids activities and more!

Advance tickets to the event will go on sale from September 1st 2016 at www.vegfestscotland.com/admission (with BUY ONE GET ONE FREE and BUY ONE GET ONE HALF PRICE offers running for limited periods only)
