Carmarthen welcomes Absolutely Fabulous Vegan Festival on April 8th 2017

Carmarthen welcomes Absolutely Fabulous Vegan Festival on April 8th 2017

2017-03-18
| by Editor

The Welsh town of Carmarthen will play host to the Absolutely Fabulous Vegan Festival on April 8th 2017 at St Peter’s Civic Hall. With the array of colourful and delicious vegan food on offer and only £1 to get in (kids free), we can expect plenty more happy faces from the event and loads to consider going vegan after the weekend’s action.

This event will be a fantastic advert for vegan food and hence bury the myth that vegan food is dull. Hot food ranges from freshly baked pizzas, Indian curries, pies with a variety of fillings, to salads, raw chocolates, bliss balls etc... of course no vegan festival is complete without vegan cakes and this one is no exception!

Looking for quality vegan ingredients to put veganism into practice with your cooking afterwards? There will be vegan cheese, preserves, pesto, dips, plus many more TBA...

The event is not only about food, of course, with plenty of vegan bodycare, skincare, cosmetics, jewellery, plus T-shirts, merchandise, crafts and more gifts.

There will also be a raffle to be held at 3pm in support of Lizzie’s Barn Sanctuary (£1 per raffle ticket).

Full list of stallholders and activities will be announced soon on the Facebook event page here:

https://www.facebook.com/events/1742251562768446

Opening hours: 11am – 4pm

To apply for a stall, please phone the organiser Sue Thomas on 02920 709292. (please note: all stallholders must possess public liability insurance, and the necessary food hygiene documents if serving food)
