Vegan Summer Fest to arrive at Ibis Hotel Earls Court on May 13th 2017

Vegan Summer Fest to arrive at Ibis Hotel Earls Court on May 13th 2017

2017-04-17
| by Editor

The sweet scents and sunshine of summer are nearly upon us now, and with the ever-increasing variety and quality of vegan foods and vegan companies on offer, what better way to greet the lengthening hours of the day and celebrate a vegan way of life with your friends and the vegan-curious, than inviting them to sample a concoction of vegan delights at the upcoming Vegan Summer Fest in London on Saturday May 13th 2017 at Ibis Hotel Earls Court?

Billed as a huge celebration for veganism with a lovely, friendly and welcoming approach to reaching out to pre-vegans, the first-ever Vegan Summer Fest is shaping up to be an amazing day out for all. Whether you’re already vegan or not, you will be blown away by the sheer quantity and quality of vegan produce on offer from altogether 170 stalls and 15 world food caterers. It’s impossible to list them all here but make sure that you arrive hungry to sample as much as possible from a huge array of sumptuous hot food, ranging from vegan editions of the traditional meaty hot dogs, burgers and “ steaks” as well as Mac & Cheese, Pesto and Fried Chips, to a cosmopolitan vegan menu featuring Greek, Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean, Indian, Chinese and many other food influences from around the globe.

Of course no vegan festival is complete without vegan cakes, and chocolates and Vegan Summer Fest London is no different... don’t forget the vegan versions of ice cream, crepes and pies to greet the much-awaited summer season, and get your hands on the equally tasty and versatile vegan ingredients such as “meats”, “cheeses”, “milks”, cooking sauces plus many more to sex up your vegan dishes, alongside colourful, smart and vibrant vegan-themed T-shirts and animal-free footwear, bags, bodycare, skincare, cosmetics, on top of many wonderful charities with their own merchandise and information helping you make the step to being vegan after the event.

After all the eating and shopping, there’s still time for you to sit in on a number of informative talks and inspiring cookery demos which will consolidate your understanding of a vegan way of life and provide plenty of tips on staying vegan afterwards.

So what are you waiting for? Put this event in your calendar and make travel plans early! And follow the event’s Facebook page for full lists of stalls, talks and cookery demos TBA soon.

The event is 100% not-for-profit – all proceeds from the event go towards supporting the work of UK-based animal rescue charity Miracle’s Mission, whose aim is to rescue stray animals in need at their own animal shelter in Borneo, Malaysia, and raise awareness of the plight of these animals and the best way of helping them – to stop more stray animals coming into existence through neutering and spaying, in addition to rescuing and looking after any in need of help, as well as advising the public to adopt rather than shop for pets.
