Media savvy vegans Angels for the Innocent Foundation are bringing a supersonic, celebrity panel to VegfestUK Brighton 2018  (March 24th 25th 2018 at Brighton Centre) to talk about how each of them has used their professional position in life in order to make a difference for animals and veganism.

Each of the panellists is in the public eye daily and has made life choices to shape their careers towards animal protection and a vegan lifestyle in order to influence others and make a difference. You too can be a positive role model – come along and find out how. (time slot TBC in due course at www.brighton.vegfest.co.uk) 

 

Panellists

Daryna Milgevska

Daryna is an accomplished Vegan model who can be seen fronting many vegan and animal-based campaigns across the world. Daryna believes in using her talents to help those who are mistreated. Her dedication to protecting animals is unmeasurable. She is a model that other models can look up to, using her talents & looks to promote cruelty-free clothing and campaigns by choosing not to support mainstream campaigns which fuel a non-vegan lifestyle. She is proof that you don’t need to agree to be a model for companies who promote cruelty and has forged a successful career as a model ‘cruelty-free’.

 

Heidi Mumford Yeo

Heidi Mumford-Yeo is an actress, author & vegan model who passionately campaigns across a spectrum of issues from dairy to fur, meat to animal testing. She also has a vegan blog which showcases the how easy it is to create beautiful vegan dishes for the family as well as reviewing the latest cruelty-free products and restaurants.

Heidi has written a series of children’s books The Adventures of Freddy which encourages young readers to develop awareness around animal ethics and veganism. 

 

Annie Robertson Connolly

Vegan, ex international athlete Annie Robertson-Connolly has represented England and Great Britain at indoor 1500m, outdoor 1500m and cross country running. Her greatest achievements were winning the national finals and winning the European Cross Cup in Luxembourg whilst captaining her national team, England.

She has used her sporting background so she could to raise money for numerous animal causes. She has recently crossed the British Channel by kayak and cycled non-stop to London for Romanian strays. As an athlete, she has shown that veganism can produce not only super fit human beings, but can be used as a positive role model for change.

 

Dan Richardson

Dan is a film and TV actor, currently appearing in Disney’s hit TV series, ‘The Lodge’. As well as being an ambassador for AFI, Dan is a patron of both the Born Free Foundation and Voice for Asian Elephants. He dedicates much of his time to animal welfare and conservation projects around the world and is actively involved in campaigns supporting many species including stray dogs, rhinos, Asian and African elephants, lions, primates, dolphins and orcas. He is an active vegan and believes that veganism is important when representing animal causes and has used his platform as an actor to spread awareness and compassion.

 

Anneka Svenska

Anneka is the founder of Angels for the Innocent; she is a wildlife presenter and vegan advocate. Anneka is one of the few wildlife TV presenters who has actively branched off to make independent films for conservation, animal rights and rescue. She is known for her online TV Channel GreenWorldTV which films animal charities and causes all over the world. She believes that we must use our skills whereas possible to make a change before it is too late, so has used her skills as a film producer and presenter in order to give animals a voice via TV and Media.

 

Carla Fraser

Carla is a UK Actor & film-maker with a passion for conservation & animal welfare. Her hit film ‘Grey Future’ has been circulated across the world with growing success and has been screened at various film festivals and conservation events.

Carla has used her talents as an actress and producer to show how easy it is to turn one's effort towards helping animals and promoting a compassionate, vegan lifestyle. As a producer, she is keen to show her skills in acting and production can create change through dramatised media and how easy it is to do this.

One of Europe’s biggest vegan festivals VegfestUK Brighton returns to the Brighton Centre on March 24th 25th 2018. The festival consists of around 230 stalls including 19 globally inspired food caterers, plus The FxEctive Factor vegan talent contest on Saturday (with a section for musicians and a section for activists), a Veganuary “class of 2018” reunion party on Sunday, on top of The Vegan Academy, talks on Plant-Based Diets: Optimum Health, talks on Plant-Based Diets: Optimum Performance, a Vegan Comedy Festival, a Vegan Activists Corner, an Art Exhibition, Cookery Demos, a Mature Zone and Live Music.
