VegfestUK manager Tim Barford on Ujima Radio explaining reasons behind closure of outdoor VegfestUK Bristol event

| by Editor | Posted in Vlog

Following his shock announcement at VegfestUK Bristol 2017 that this year’s event was the last-ever VegfestUK Bristol at the Amphitheatre, VegfestUK manager Tim Barford was invited onto the Mistri show on Ujima Radio 98fm on Friday May 26th 2017, explaining further the rationale behind the closure of the event.

Whilst outlining clearly the difficulties with the local council and the thinking behind the tough decision to part company with the outdoor Amphitheatre, Tim was complimentary to everyone who has supported this festival throughout its 15 years of existence, from the local authorities to the stallholders and visitors amongst many who have flocked to the Harbourside year after year.
