Here are the latest updates for you...

Best Vegan Festival

A very competitive category this is turning out to be, with up to 7 nominees neck in neck in the quest for top spot, including UK Vegan CampOut, Vegan Life Live London, Bristol Viva! Vegan Festival, Animal Aid Christmas Fayre, the West Midlands Vegan Festival, the Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival and Live A Better Life (LABL) Vegan Fair Liverpool.

Best Vegan Bags

Lots of interesting developments over the past 2 weeks, with the 10 nominees squashed closer to each other than before, however the standout nominees currently are Matt & Nat, The Lovely Things, Lifestyle International Limited, Beyond Bags, and Hetty and Sam.

Best Vegan Superfood Brand

Currently looking in good shape in the voting proceedings are Vega, Vivo Life, GOOD Hemp Dairy Free, Naturya and Revolution Foods; however, we’ve seen late surges from nominees in previous years and so don’t rule out yet the possibility of a late upset in the next 2 weeks.

Best Vegan Ready Meals

Candidates who have taken giant steps towards winning this trophy currently are One Planet Pizza, Mr Nice Pie, Tideford Organics, Badgers Vegan Kitchen and Pie Baby.

Best Vegan Magazine

The leading candidates in the magazine category are the same as 2 weeks before, with Vegan Life Magazine, Vegan Food and Living Magazine, PlantBased Magazine, Simply Vegan Magazine and Vegan Living Magazine near the summit.

Best Vegan Online Resource

At the moment, there are 5 favourites for the trophy, namely HappyCow, Plant Based News, The Vegan Society, LIVEKINDLY and Veganuary, and it’ll take a brave soul to predict which of these 5 is going to triumph in the end.

Best Vegan Cleaning Brand

Sitting pretty in the top 5 currently are Astonish, Method, Ecozone, Living Naturally and Ecoleaf, however never rule out a late upset in the proceedings with 2 weeks still to go.

Best Vegan Bodycare

Another fiercely contested category sees the top 5 of Eden Perfumes, Dr. Bronner's, Buddha Beauty, Shea – Me and Indigenous Beauty sitting pretty however there’s still time for the others to catch up and get close to this quintet.

Best Vegan Clothing

One of the most evenly contested categories sees brands such as ETHCS, Viva La Vegan, Wear Your Voice, Anticarnist and Hempish separated by not many votes, with time still on the side of the other 5 nominees.

Best Vegan Footwear

There’s plenty of shuffling in the pecking order over the last 2 weeks, however the ones looking most likely to come top in 2 weeks’ time are currently Vegetarian Shoes, Beyond Skin, Will's Vegan Shoes, Eco Vegan Shoes and Ethical Wares.

Best Vegan Restaurant / Cafe

Many eyes were cast to the arena of best vegan restaurant / cafe when voting started, with interesting developments expected in all weeks of voting. Currently leading the chase are Purezza, The Flying Duck, 222 Vegan Cuisine, V Rev Vegan Diner (formerly V-Revolution) and Little Green.

Best Vegan "Cheese"

A solid round of campaigning saw Kinda Co. breaking the top-5 barrier over the last 2 weeks, breathing down the necks of Follow Your Heart, Bute Island Foods, Tyne Chease and I Am Nut OK.

Best Vegan Cakes

4 strong contenders for Best Vegan Cakes are hot on the heels of reigning champions The Vegan Cakery for the last 3 years running. The chasing pack currently include Ms. Cupcake, Baking Bad, Cupcakes & Shhht and Rubys of London.

Best Vegan Snacks

Defending champion Nakd Wholefoods are facing a strong challenge from the likes of Pulsin, Perk!er Foods, Fry's Coconut Island, Quinoa Crack and other nominees who are not giving up without a fight.

Best Vegan Caterer

Another even group which sees the duo of What the Pitta and Happy Maki gaining some momentum over the last couple of weeks, however they are finding it hard to gain breathing space over the likes of Herbivorous, Greek Vegan Deli, The Spotless Leopard and Veggies.

Best Vegan "Meat"

The likes of Temple of Seitan, Tofurky, Oumph! and VBites are giving previous winner Fry’s a serious run for their money with strong leaps of momentum since the last update, with the other 5 nominees still in with a chance of catching up.

Best Vegan Dessert

Last year’s winner Booja Booja are not finding it as easy as in previous years, with challenges from The Coconut Collaborative, Pudology, Freaks of Nature and Ice Green as well as potentially a late surge in votes from the other nominees in 2 weeks’ time.

Best Vegan Chocolate

Currently closest to winning this category are Moo Free Chocolates, The Raw Chocolate Company, So Free Chocolate, Loving Earth and Conscious Chocolate, but a lot can still happen in 2 weeks’ time.
