Celebrate Veganuary by visiting your local vegan festivals

2019-01-11
| by Editor | Posted in Vegan festivals

As Veganuary is well and truly underway and we look forward to a full month of tasty vegan food and recipes, socialising and inspirations for staying vegan or eating more vegan foods, and in this short blog, we preview the vegan events awaiting everybody across the UK.

Vegan events are great places for meeting like-minded people and sampling new vegan products, and learning more about the various aspects of living vegan, thus making it easier to remain vegan in the long term – we would encourage everyone to support their local vegan events, be there and invite your friends to go as well.

Jan 13th - Vegan January Cruelty Free Event

#Veganuary Vegan Fayre – come and explore a variety of exciting stalls! Meat Eaters, Veggies & Vegans – come and see what all this is about. Feel good, look good & ditch meat, dairy & use Cruelty-Free Vegan Products. Free entry.

Jan 19th - South West Vegan Festival

Many stalls mainly featuring food, although there will be charity, beauty, clothing and wellness stalls with various talks taking place throughout the day. The aim of the festival is to promote a plant-based diet, sustainability and animal welfare in a positive atmosphere. The profits of the event go to Farplace Animal Rescue,  which helps care for and rehome animals that have been rescued.

Tying in nicely with Veganuary, the 3rd Stroud Vegan Fair will be the perfect opportunity for you to stock up on all your favourite vegan goodies from your favourite local vendors, as well as the chance for you to meet up with like-minded individuals over a hot cup of vegan hot choc!

As well as boasting an impressive line up of businesses showcasing everything from vegan foods to ethical clothing, cruelty-free cosmetics to household brands the event will also feature a programme of talks and demos throughout the day for audience members to discover.
