Greener Beauty has gone through a major rebrand to better serve the vegan community and help take vegan beauty mainstream

Greener Beauty Ltd, known as Greener Beauty, GreenerBeauty.com and GreenerSalons.com, has undergone a comprehensive rebranding which reflects the company’s evolution to better serve the vegan community.

The Greener Beauty team have spent the last 6 months working with branding expert Nicki James to redesign and relaunch their core websites to better serve the vegan community in the UK and further afield. Since its launch 18 months ago the team at Greener Beauty have undertaken frequent and detailed customer surveys detailing what the pain points are with finding vegan friendly beauty products that are ethical and effective.

85% of people questioned in the Greener Beauty customer survey, carried out in May 2019, said they struggled to find products that they trust are vegan and are labelled as such. And that these products are also truly cruelty free including any parent companies.

Similarly 75% of people surveyed struggle to read the product ingredients and know which ingredients were animal based and therefore not vegan, and which ingredients were harmful chemicals.

Greener Beauty’s main aim is to stop these pain points from being a pain.

As veganism grows sourcing truly ethical vegan products is becoming muddy with many high street brands claiming to be cruelty free when they are anything but. At Greener Beauty we source products that are not only vegan and cruelty free including any parent companies but also free of any harmful chemicals such as parabens, SLS, oxybenzone etc. We have created a truly safe space for vegans to shop without having to worry about ingredients or animal testing. In addition to this we also test all the products we sell to ensure that they are enjoyable to use, do what they say on the packaging and are effective.

Greener Beauty takes great pride in retailing not only major vegan brands but also supporting the small artisan vegan companies., making Greener Beauty a totally unique and ethical shopping experience.

Vic Wood, who is the founder and CEO of Greener Beauty said:

“We are really excited about this rebrand and relaunch. Not only is Greener Beauty growing as a brand with a gorgeous new colour schemes and design but we are also launching with more options for the vegan community and for our customers.

As part of this relaunch we have added in an option to donate to one of the 5 Greener Beauty charities at checkout. These charities are Hugletts Wood Farm Sanctuary (a  vegan animal sanctuary in Sussex), Sea Shepherd UK (a global marine conservation direct action group), Red Box Project UK (helping children who suffer from period poverty in the UK), Veganuary (a charity that are supporting thousands of people annually go vegan in January) and Breast Cancer Care (who support women affected by breast cancer and their families in this tough time. Their ethics match the Greener Beauty clean beauty ethics making this a natural partnership). By donating to one or more of these charities at checkout Greener Beauty customers can really help bring about change.

As part of this relaunch we have also set up a free sample scheme where customers can choose what product samples they would like to try for free with their purchase. In addition to this the bigger the purchase the more samples can be selected with the top option being 5 free samples and a free ‘Be-you-tiful’ Greener Beauty makeup bag.

Greener Beauty also plant a tree for every online order and pay the tampon tax on all sanitary products even the reusable ranges.

We will continue to work to make Greener Beauty work hard for our customers and also help grow the vegan movement.”

About Greener Beauty

Greener Beauty was founded in 2018 and was launched at Brighton Vegfest in March 2018. The brainchild of Vic who lives in the very vegan friendly city of Brighton in the UK. The mission statement for Greener Beauty is:

“Here at Greener Beauty we are passionate about starting a beauty revolution for a Greener, vegan world free of toxic chemicals and testing on animals. Whether you are vegan or don’t want to contribute to animal testing or want to live a chemical free life our aim is to make this easier by helping people find local businesses like Hairdressers, tattooists, makeup artists, holistic therapists and Beauticians that fit this ethos. We also strongly believe in greener organic products free of any nasty chemicals and we source a wide range of brands which fits this ethos with products suitable for every budget in our online shop.”

Greener Beauty was launched after it was noticed how many vegans struggle to find vegan friendly beauty services and as veganism grows in the UK this service will be needed by more and more.

Greener Beauty is a vegan run business, run from a vegan perspective and staffed only by vegans. We only sell products sold by companies whose products are vegan friendly and harmful chemical free. We do not sell products by companies whose owning company tests on animals; so for example no L’Oréal, Unilever or Procter and Gamble. You can rest assured with us that all our products are not only good for you and your health but also animals and the planet! We also have a range of plastic free products for those who are concerned about plastic waste.
